For those who may play Sims 3 and prefer the Awesome Mod for getting rid of stupid story progression AI, he updated this morning with a new build, one where a string of text placed into any household description makes them immune to storytelling.

WOOHOO, I say.

Also supposedly even better at keeping households from merging randomly.

I should reeeally go to bed. I'm tired, I'm depressed, I have to vacuum the house and start a painting tomorrow. I find it amusing that EA said they were not going to support custom pattern-making because it was 'too difficult' and yet the modding community not only came up with a tool to let one make them, and a file to let one USE them, but also have made dozens of brand new custom patterns and textures that I can pick and choose from ( Read more... )

Well I feel a bit embarrassed about some of my ranting. Today I did find more clothing and hair that was decent in the Sims 3 launch... I don't know if I was just too damn tired and didn't notice more tabs and scrolling, or what. Well, I found it amusing, at any rate.

In other news, after hours of things working *fine* and our electrician leaving town for the weekend- the circuit my computer runs on seems to be having difficulties. Again. Surge protector/battery backup keeps switching on and off. BLEAH.

Good news: My Sims site got restored! WOO!

Bad news: Another domain of mine apparently got ninja'd, though I could freaking SWEAR I paid up to register on time this year. So I'm with tech support AGAIN.
